Innovation in the Dirt™
The concept of 'Innovation in the Dirt' is more than a catchy phrase; it's a call to action.
Creating functional solutions to support the warfighter must be immediate and effective to truly foster military modernization and make an impact. By embracing this mandatory frontline approach, innovation ultimately saves not only time but also lives.
To source problems, opportunities, and solution concepts appropriately, it must start with an end-user’s (Soldiers or frontline servicemembers) input because their impact results in a state of practical readiness and accelerated performance.
Innovation in Action
The successful transition of moving national security problems to technological solutions and, ultimately, programs of record requires effective problem identification, problem curation, and engagement with performers.
