In mid-February, we announced our plans for the 2024 CMI2 Adaptive Experimentation Facility (AEF) High School Summer Internship opportunities. These full-time opportunities begin in late May and go through early August in Clay County.
The application deadline is five days away on March 31, 2024, at 11:59 p.m.
The available positions for 2024 include:
- Site Specialist – In Training (10 total)
- Makerspace Operator – In Training (2 total)
- Communications Coordinator – In Training (2 total)
Applicants for all positions should be self-starters aged 16-18, currently enrolled in high school, recent high school graduates, or possessing a GED. Individuals with problem-solving skills and the ability to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment are encouraged to apply.
About the CMI2 AEF Summer Internship Program
- All CMI2 internships are paid.
- The CMI2 AEF Summer Intern Program is on-site/in-person in Clay County, West Virginia.
- This internship is full-time, approximately 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday (occasional weekends), from the end of May through the beginning of August.
- Internships begin on Tuesday, May 28, 2024.
- Interns are invited to weekly presentations to hear from military and industry leaders.
