Community stability is crucial for national security. At CMI2, we strongly emphasize outreach and engagement within the communities where we live and work.
Our philosophy is straightforward: the more robust and stable our communities are, the more resilient they will be in the face of adversity.
Each year, our entire team gathers in Morgantown for our annual meeting, dedicating half a day to serving local organizations and the community where our company was founded.
On November 14, more than 60 individuals from Team CMI2 volunteered to support five organizations in the Monongalia County and Greater Morgantown area, including the Salvation Army, Helpful Harvest Food Program, Scott’s Run Settlement House, Children’s Home Society of West Virginia, and the Rosenbaum Family House at WVU Medicine.
The large group was divided into four teams, each with a fun holiday-themed name to enhance our community outreach efforts. Each team included co-captains from our leadership to guide their initiatives.
- Team Eggnog Ninjas, consisting of 10 members, assisted the Helpful Harvest Food Program with organization and clean-up efforts.
- The Salvation Army received support from Resting Grinch Face, a 20-member team that helped prepare for the upcoming Angel Tree event.
- The Silent Knights, a 20-member team, provided organizational support for the Scott’s Run Settlement House.
- Lastly, a 10-member team called the Misfit Toys addressed urgent resupply needs for the Children’s Home Society of West Virginia and the Rosenbaum Family House.
Our team members proudly served the Morgantown community by supporting necessary organization and clean-up tasks, donation sorting, and urgent resupply efforts. Thank you, Team CMI2!
