Making the Dreamwork

Making the Dreamwork

October 1, 2024

There are countless reasons to invest in employee engagement activities – networking, socializing, and collaboration while enhancing the company culture. Equally important in such an investment is the opportunity to unlock leadership potential, improve employee engagement, and show employees appreciation. Even if it is embracing the quintessential idea that “teamwork makes the dream work,” participation in team-building activities is essential at our CMI2 Adaptive Experimentation Facility (AEF) at Fort Andrew.

Last week, as September wound down, the AEF team embraced the opportunity to spend quality time together after seven busy months investing in the new Fort Andrew facility in Lizemores, WV. While the build-out continues, the team spent Friday, September 26, brushing up on medical rescue skills and team-building activities.

Throughout the day, the dedicated staff in Clay County, plus some teammates from Morgantown, completed medical training refresher courses, conducted rope rescue exercises, competed in ropes training, and enjoyed a classic shrimp boil presented by our Innovation Engineer/amateur chef.
