CMI2 Manager featured in Army Chief of Staff’s Recommended Articles List for March 2024

The Army Chief of Staff included a published article by a CMI2 manager in Army University Press’s “Chief of Staff of the Army Recommended Articles” for March 2024.

CMI2 Pathfinder Warfighter Innovation Chief (PWIC) Robert Leach published his original article “The Four Pillars of Tactical Innovation: A Path For Impactful Disruption” in February via the Modern War Institute at West Point.

The article addressed the essential role of bottom-up innovation, or as we call it at CMI2, “innovation in the dirt,” by empowering the frontline to develop and integrate new innovative solutions for our warfighters.

The selection of PWIC Leach’s article is part of the Army Chief Staff’s initiative known as The Harding Project, which is the Army’s effort to revitalize publications and renew professional military writing to foster discussion and debate on various military topics.
